Jolene Mei is an Asian American voiceover artist that grew up in Orange County, Southern California. Jolene received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from California State Long Beach and spent over 7 years teaching, coaching, and mentoring as the head of a department in the mental health field teaching students on the autism spectrum and with learning differences how to be independent. Jolene says that the students she worked with will always be a part of her and her experiences with them shaped who she is as a human being. Jolene is also truly grateful to be the podcast host of Diverseek, where she is reminded of humanity at work with each guest she has the honor to host.

On the creative side of things, Jolene has been involved in choruses, singing, and music for a majority of her life, serving in leadership positions and eventually as a Communications Coordinator for the Nonprofit Sweet Adelines Region 11 Organization where her love for the niche a cappella barbershop style started.

In late 2020, Jolene decided to pursue a career in voice-over and hasn't looked back. She carries herself with an understanding of value for efficiency, creativity, and humanity. In her free time she enjoys playing guitar, teaching her cat tricks, hiking, meditating, and running at her local park.
